I don't find public transit in Athens dysfunctional. It happens to be one of the most efficient in Europe. You can get everywhere in Athens by public transit..

the only Greeks who live in "concrete jungles" is the Athenians, about 5mil😊 No concrete jungle outside of the capital, the rest 6mil Greeks live in nature
