I’ve had that charger for a while, and never knew the phone part extended out. It is fine for overnight, but isn’t a fast charger.

I have one that’s three squares connected together that does the same thing and I love it so much! I lost it on a recent trip and immediately ordered another one when I got home. Saves so much space, and I just unplug the usbc cord from the back during the day to charge my laptop or iPad.
