AF 85-89, we had a kid or several go home right after Basic bc he was in Recreation (passing out basketballs etc at AF gyms and would go to his first station for OJT🙏🏼

If you do army national guard while in 11th grade aka “split ops” you go home right after boot camp for a year to finish 12th grade. Then go back to your job training. That year off still counts btw.

National guard has split ops, so if you job. In ur junior year of high school you get to go home after and then you start ur job training in ur senior year of college

Technically I’m the Air Force if you time it right, with winter exodus, you do go to job training for like a week then you can go home for 2 weeks

Jokes on you, I was split ops, meaning I enlisted my jr year of hs, went to basic over the summer, went back home for a year and finished school, then went to job school
