I put stuff animal and blanket in with my dog and night time I would cover it with blanket till he got use to it and he does amazing now 💙

I HIGHLY recommend a Snuggle Puppy on amazon. It has a heating pad & heartbeat in it. My puppy loved hers when we first brought her home. It’d help him in the crate

If you put a blanket over the crate it will help with the whining. Make sure the room is dark so he can’t see you.

I did try crate training for about 6 months but I will say we BOTH (me and the dog) sleep MUCH better if I just let him sleep with me. lol
