I did this once on drill Sargent letter day n said he was short. somehow he knew it was me and he found me mid conversation with another ds. he said"you think I'm short private" I said no ds and looked down at him. he said"elevator, allen" (squat) we were eye level 💀 he said"hmmm .... not low enough front leaning rest. .... yeah who short now. am I short not me and the other drill Sargent were dying laughing while I did push-ups couldn't even be mad lol

I agree, no military but regular life, short people grow up not being taken seriously because of their height, they are normally louder and overcompensate to stand out , which is why when they are in any position of authority, you need to be careful
