Okay… I used to be all in with the crystals & the universe stuff. Full moon rituals, manifesting, sage… 👀 I really thought I was doing something for the family & toddler tantrums 🤣 It gave me just enough peace to feel like it was working- hello the mind is powerful. Truthfully- I was still anxious, restless & empty.. sorta still searching for more yaaaas know? I kept saying “the universe” I think because I fell into what was trendy.:: and it was trendy in the community of oils, not God. I’ve realized, and you think as a woman in recovery I would have sooner 😂 whoops. That saying God meant surrender. I don’t think my faith (or lack there of) was ready for that. Lucky for me, He is so patient with me. So this last year when I finally started digging deeper into my faith… reading the Bible, listening to the homilies at Mass, something in me started to shift. Idk if Jon even sees the same woman he met over ten years ago.. I don’t. I don’t need crystals to feel grounded. I don’t need to manifest anything. I don’t even try. I pray. I listen. I trust. I follow through in action. Read that again ⬆️ and NOTE to yourself- what might be the hardest part? It was never “energy” that gave me peace. It was Him all along. 🥹🥹🥹🥹 And I don’t say this to shame anyone, I’ve been there. Do you. Stay sober. Whatever you resonates with I am not judging. I just can’t keep quiet about what He’s done in my life anymasss. If any part of that hits- GOOD!!!! you’re not alone- & He’s not far. Ask for him if your needs like a child asks a parent!
