I had a teacher that used cell phones as an attendance. We were assigned a number and if your phone was not in the slot, you were absent even if you were there.

When i got a cell phone it removed the school from having to call 911 when my sugar was low, we could call my mom, get me an extra snack and meal or picked up. Saved me a lot of hospital trips.

I didn’t have a phone until I was in the 11 grade. It was a prepaid flip phone. Banning phones is the right decision. It’s a distraction. What are they going to do when they join the work force?

the children and mainly parents are the reason phones were banned. if you would stay off it while in class it wouldn't be a problem. keep them out.

I think we should realistically prepare students for college. when your an adult in college it's your responsibility not to be distracted 🙃 by your phone.
