Told my parents I smelled gas in their house and they swore it was a dead animal. 4 weeks goes by and I finally get them to check, sure enough they had a leak. Thank God they’re all still here

This was almost me, I was house sitting and I smelt what smelled like a backed up sewage. The owner checked it out when he got back and said I’m lucky I’m still here because it was a gas leak

THIS is why I refuse to have gas of any sort in my house for heating/stove.Those poor lost souls.Hopefully it was so quick they didn’t have time to register pain.God please comfort all those families.

my mom called for a gas leak back in the 90s and called my uncle to help get out the kids she was watching, soon as my uncle stepped far enough away from the porch with the last kid the house blew up

my downstairs neighbor left her gas stove knob open for more than 8 hours and the gas smell was so bad I called the fire dep and she had the nerve to get upset at me bcuz I called them 🤦♂️

I came home to a gas smell. as soon as I opened the door, I asked my husband "why is the gas on?!" he was home before me and didn't even notice the smell. glad I'm built like a bloodhound

I was smelling a gas leak, we called the firefighters and didn't find anything, we changed the ceiling by their advice (had mold) and there was a big sead rat in there

A few months ago I woke up early in the morning just after my mom went to work. Something told me to check the stove. The gas had been on for so long that the ticking stopped but it was still on.
