the difference is that we know what the ideal weight for an animal is, we don’t know the ideal weight for humans since we have so much variation in muscle and bone density

my cat is so fat and we've taken her to the vet multiple times and the freaking vet has given up because no diet works she's just always gonna be fat and I feel so bad😭😭

The only excuse I will allow is if the person recently adopted the animal and is actively getting the animal to a healthy weight, but usually those people aren’t making those kinds of videos

In his las year by grandparents 18 year old cat got to try roast and ham cause he was super underweight and they were basically told to let him live his best life cause he wasn’t hurting just old

My daily reminder that I did good at keeping all my animals at a slender size (I get comments about how my animals look “so thin” but the vet has said multiple times they’re at healthy weights)

I used to have a dog and I was always watching her food intake ever since she was a puppy. Which also helped her develop healthy eating habits like knowing when she isn’t hungry anymore.
