I’ve always loved Haruka for reasons that I myself don’t even know to this day. He’s always just held a special place in my heart ever since I saw Minigram. When watching his voice dramas, while I definitely don’t relate to his situation, it always made me hold sympathy for him. Yes, he committed a unjustified crime, but witnessing the way his character progresses, it was just sad. Seeing a character so desperate for attention because his parents never gave him the love he wanted. As a person with Autism, it absolutely sickens me that Haruka’s parents straight up abandoned him because of the way he was diagnosed, seeing people go through something such as Ableism always angered me just because it wasn’t fair at all. Seeing his death was heartbreaking especially, watching his last moments made even hesitate to continue watching the post because of how much it was affecting me in a slightly personal way. Especially since he never really hated Muu for using him at all, she still treated him better than his own biological parents. While I don’t like Muu and I still do not find her innocent at all for what she’s done, it hurt seeing her reaction because she still felt responsible for taking care of Haruka. It’s honestly hard to think that he could’ve lived a normal life if he was raised with better parents.
