@rainbowholictv: These are my emergency bag essentials in Japan. 🇯🇵 I prepared this bag back in 2020 & just update it from time to time (replacing expired foods & batteries, updating my checklist, etc). Bought most of the items from 100 yen shops (DAISO / Seria / Can*Do) and Amazon JP. I place this emergency bag near the genkan (entryway) so it’s easy to carry when evacuating. The weight of the backpack is currently 8.5kg & I’ve tried and tested carrying it outside too (heavy but doable). I also packed a foldable tote bag / plastic bag just in case I would need to transfer some weight. Being knowledgeable about your city’s evacuation center / hotlines / emergency plans is also important (wherever you are, not only in Japan). Pro tips: ☑️ Make a checklist of everything & arrange it by compartment ☑️ Invest in a good waterproof bag (my bag’s brand is AISFA & it’s from Amazon JP) ☑️ Label your items so it’s easier to take out since your bag will be too packed ☑️ Use ziplock / plastic to waterproof your stored items P.S.
