@michellelaisaunchu: This year, it was one of my goals to find some supper club events to attend, and the Underground Supper Club’s Wake & Bake brunch by @chefkyndra was such a fun time building community through food 🔥 I specifically wanted to find a supper club built by communities of color, and not only was each course made by a Black or Asian chef, but @thehighmommylife joined us to share some knowledge about the history of c🌸nn🌸bis and the r🌸cist roots that led to its prohibition in the 20th century. True to the theme, each course we had came with either an infused or non-infused condiment.
