Omggg this reminds me of when I was in kindergarten, I finished earlier than my sister in 1rst grade so everyday for like the first two weeks on the bus ride home I would cry thinking they forgot her or something bc my parents never told me that was how it worked

a teacher told me once drop them off and walk alway it was the hardest thing but you build security when they see you at pick up and it becomes their usual. they are just afraid of abandonment
