This won’t change anything. Either home prices will start to lower to reflect the increased costs on the buyers end, or the buyers can request seller credits to cover the extra costs.

No. That’s always been the case… it just now can’t be listed on the mls which means the seller could potentially change it & discriminate now because it is no longer visible to the agent or public.

Another important thing for buyers: LENDERS usually won’t pay commission above the purchase price, meaning the buyer will have to pay OUT OF POCKET in addition to closing costs.
