Vet nurse here, looks like pain to me. Worth a second opinion and some dental/jaw xrays to make sure there is no break or fracture, teeth are not fun. You are a wonderful dog parent xx

Amelia, my chihuahua (the spitting image of Rose) has had nearly all her teeth out in stages and now has two and her jaw didn't look like this. My gut says her jaw isn't right honey🥺💔💔

I’m a vet assistant, if they haven’t done X-rays on her I would definitely get some done. If anything just for peace of mind. I love you Rose 🌹 feel better sweet girl.

Get a second option, if nothing else it will quash any questions you have. Rose is a super sensitive soul and it makes sense that she is very upset. I do think that she doesn't like the way it feels

Vet nurse opinion - could be a few things. I have seen dogs look like this from the stitches. They can go slightly hard and feel spikey inside their mouth, they hold their mouth strange/hold open
