It’s laser season ✨ and I’m back at @AMC Laser Lounge for my second session of BBL and Moxi! BBL, or BroadBand Light, is a light-based treatment that targets different skin concerns using customized filters. For my session, my provider used 4 filters: 1️⃣ Anti-aging – boosts collagen and improves overall skin tone 2️⃣ Redness – reduces broken capillaries and calms inflammation 3️⃣ Hyperpigmentation – targets dark spots and sun damage 4️⃣ Photo finish – gives that polished, radiant glow There’s zero pain with BBL — just a gentle warmth from the light pulses. Then we moved on to Moxi, which is a non-ablative fractional laser that helps with texture, fine lines, and tone. We went stronger this time with 5 passes, but pain was only around a 3 near the jawline and 1–2 everywhere else. What’s most surprising to me is how much of a difference these two lighter treatments have made in my skin compared to the more aggressive lasers I’ve done in the past. My complexion looks brighter, smoother, and more even — and with minimal downtime.
