You’re describing how communism has been implemented in some regimes, not what it actually means. In theory, communism aims for a classless society with no private property and no state just collective ownership and distribution based on need.

The people owns the means of production in communism. You’re defining a dictatorship for communism. People own the companies when it comes to working them and making it a classless society instead of feeding the rich all their hard work and keeping the lower class down
