Yes and no but it depends on opportunity. I make around 90k at 23 and my brother makes 200k at 28, even though we’re from a poor family, it depends on the steps the people before you took.

My bf thinks being poor is a choice. But he came from Middle Class w/ a maid. He lived at home until 30. No rent. Bought and paid off a car. Bought a house.

When you're poor, the majority of your paycheck is already gone before it's even been cashed. You don't have extra to invest & can't take off work to attend college. It's paycheck to paycheck.

Im poor and I agree with the rich guy. Ive had the frustration of growing up with poor parents giving them great suggestions of what to do to get a lot of money and they don’t do it, they stay poor.
