@justinveenema: Didn’t expect that 😂 The other day I was walking around the Metrotown area when I heard a *squawk* next to me. I looked over, and there was a guy with a bike… With a BIRD on his shoulder. 🦜 After chatting with Yang, I asked if I could take their portrait - and luckily he said yes. Okra is a 1 year old bird who loves to bike. She was named after Okra (the fruit) because of her green colour. She’s a little timid with traffic noises, so he usually walks his bike when he’s around busy intersections. Oh, Okra also likes to scream 😂 Definitely wasn’t expecting to see this kind of pet while out, but I’m glad I ran into them.
