Rapper Lil Jon made a surprise appearance during the delegate roll call for Georgia where he came out performing his and DJ Snake’s song “Turn Down for What.” The rapper changed some of the lyrics to fit the Harris-Walz theme of the evening as well. Actor Sean Astin, known for his roles in the films “Lord of The Rings,” “Rudy” and “The Goonies,” made an appearance for Indiana’s roll call as a delegate. NFL Hall of Fame defensive tackle John Randle spoke on behalf of the Minnesota delegates. Film director and actor Spike Lee joined the New York delegation.
