I use a sports gorpcore style backpack so it's stylish even with corporate clothing. I put my lunch bag (similar size) inside the bigger compartment, with umbrella on side pockets, water bottle on (1)

It’s wild being a millennial sometimes because I vividly remember the hatred I had towards backpacks at this age bc I wanted to be cute. But they are, sadly, the best solution to this issue.

Backpack is better - don’t worry too much on how you’d look with it. It’s comfortable and fits everything and is more practical.
