Prepare the Bacalhau 🐟🐟 - Desalt the salt cod by soaking it in cold water for 24-48 hours, changing the water every 8 hours. Keep it in the refrigerator while soaking. - After desalting, drain the bacalhau and pat it dry with a clean kitchen towel. - Shred the bacalhau into small pieces using your hands, removing any skin and bones. 2. Assemble the Dish: 🥘 - In a large bowl, mix the shredded bacalhau with the thinly sliced onion and finely chopped garlic. - Drizzle the olive oil and white wine vinegar over the mixture. - Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste. Since the bacalhau is already salty, additional salt is usually not needed. 3.
