So shouldn't the previous home owner owe her for the shed, since that was part of the sale of the house?

Couldn't the shed be seen as abandoned property? I mean September to July seems like a long time. who buys a shed and then says yeah I'll get that in a half a year.

Both parties should sue the previous home owner for not disclosing that to the home buyer.

So the seller owes Meg at least $5,000 (or however much it takes to replace the shed). That’s amazing

How long is someone required to wait for the person to pickup a sold item? If the buyer never shows up can’t they sell it again?

Wouldn’t there be a case to be made that the shed had been abandoned by the purchaser because they hadn’t come to collect on that sale for a year? Depends on jurisdiction probably

She said in a different video that because the shed has electricity and running that it could be classified as real property and full under title insurance.

Isn’t there any kind of abandonment rules? you can’t just buy something and have someone else store it indefinitely right?

Not an attorney, but very successful in real estate. If the buyer registered the sale with the county, shed included, it’s hers. Real property law is different than chattel law

Then why are they not suing the guy that sold the house and the shed as opposed to the people who bought the house that had the shed in the documents? makes no sense

In the lawsuit, the guy who supposedly purchased the shed stated that the seller said he'd reimburse him, so doesn't that make the seller solely responsible and not her?? legally?

I will add that you may be entitled to reasonable storage costs for storing the shed for an extended period of time, but it would take a lawyer to get that straightened out.

hahaha nice try :
the shed is actually a permanent structure because it is wired. and as such goes to the property so the guy needs to sue the seller not this girl and he's probably out of gas for not picking it up

In a lot of cases this depends on if there is a “foundation” to the shed, ie a concrete base and permanently attached. If it is then he didn’t buy it it’s the new homeowners. .

Since it’s Real Estate, it’s a bit more complicated than this. Plus, with electricity it could fall under different classifications. Not quite as simple as you’re trying to make it.
