There is something similar in Irish too. Before giving directions you unconsciously orientate to the sun. Rather than say something is over there you’d say it’s to the east or west etc.

iirc there's also an island (possibly like a very small volcano island) that explains direction by how far from the center you are and at how many degrees from east or smth like that

Australian aboriginals also have no word for "thank you", as giving is and sharing is just part of life for them.

the term 'aborigine' is a considered a derogatory (since the 90s) word dating from the 60s. Aboriginal people, first nation people's would be more appropriate.

the term ‘aborigine’ is no longer appropriate and is disrespectful. It would be more appropriate to use ‘First Nation people of Australia’ or ‘Indigenous Australians’.
