I think we’ve seen enough open goal howlers for it to make sense why garnacho went for the middle instead of a near post finish plus zirkzee puts his knee up in the way of the finish aswell

Zirkzee unnecessarily slides way after the ball has gone past him, if he stayed on his feet he could've got out the way. That being said Garnacho should've just not hit Zirkzee. Both at fault.

When Garnacho shoots Zirkzee is still sliding, and Zirkzee is actually trying to get out of the way but the ball is shot RIGHT AT HIM, there was nothing he could do

Considering the fact he missed an open goal last week, Garnacho was probably just aiming middle of the goal to make sure it goes in, Zirkzee got unlucky he had no time to move out the way.
