I used to believe I wasn’t worthy of wearing a bikini. My legs are too big. My tummy isn’t flat. I have hip dips. cellulite. stretch marks. loose skin. rolls. & I used to think… who wants to see that? I was so mean to myself. Saying things I wouldn’t dream of saying to someone I love & that’s when it hit me, if I wouldn’t say it to someone else… Why do I say these things to myself? I had to unlearn the shame. I had to stop waiting for a “better” body to feel like enough. Wear the damn bikini. It’s not about loving your body every day. It’s about choosing to respect her anyway.
