@anatomy.of.motion: Did you notice that attempting to build flexibility in your hamstrings through global stretch exercises often doesn't work? This happens because by default, our nervous system selects the area with the least resistance to perform the movement. As a result we often reach the end of the range of motion in our spine before the hamstrings receive proper stimulation. To effectively perform global movements we must first address hip issues in a more targeted way and build the rest of our flexibility on top of that, not the other way around! #anatomy #biomechanics #hamstrings #hamstringworkout

in karate training, after warming up with runs. my coach told me to put my leg on his shoulder. Then he hold my leg with his hand, then he just went backwards 😂. i was literally 180 degree splittin.
