We watch tv/movies with our kids. No ipads. No singular devices. Unless it’s travel for a movie.

Already saw my kindergarter get made fun of for not playing minecraft it broke my heart like how do we handle those situations we are actively putting our kids in for making those choices for them

This is a lot easier than it seems. Just don’t buy tablets or have kid apps on your phone. My littles watch tv but like she said on the big screen, not on ones they hold

We do screentime whenever as long as school work is done (we homeschool). Our TV is usually always on with Blippi, MsRachel, Daniel Tiger, etc. My 22month old knows her letters already bc of it. 🤷♀️

I agree with the screen away from them. I play 1 episode of something for my 1yo on tv and he mostly will dance to the opening song and see a toy and prefer to go play with it.

I agree with travel. That’s all rules are out the window for me too. All the snacks all the screens but other than that I’m scared of devices

We only have a “travel iPad” only pulled out for long travel on a plane —rarely used in a car ride unless it’s a long trip in the car. Also never let my kids watch shows on my phone! Always on the tv.

Can we define screen time?? My first thought when I hear no screen time is no tech, at all - ie no tv. It seems like her definition is no iPads, (except for travel) but tv is okay?
