When you said “this is the first time I’ve heard her say anything positive about an animal” I got chills. I suspect my mother killed some of the animals I was trying to rescue or pets that we had.

My grandma had an Irish Mail Cart! I never knew what it was called. Yes very unusual. You pulled with your arms and steered with feet. We called it Müllauto (trash truck) in German.

I think an Irish mail cart might be light one of those 3 wheel tricycle type bikes usually with a basket, loved your reaction to the audacity, totally warrented.😂❤️

I think my mom was doing something similar with me, she became the girl scouts leader for my troop 1st-5th grade. the same timeframe is when I experienced alot of neglect and as a result CSA.
