@therealveronika_: I love baseball, don't get me wrong, but I feel a certain way knowing Ohtani just signed a $600millon contract yet they're always asking for donations towards their foundations. We get mad when someone posts a GoFundMe for themselves but somehow these super rich celebs & athletes get away with it. Don't get me started on corporations...I love my green supermarket that starts with a P and ends with an X, but I do not need to be asked every time I go to self checkout if I want to donate. When I do donate, I go straight to the source. What are your thoughts on this? #fyp #donations #economics
They already made their donation. They are just asking to recover what they paid. It all goes back into their pocket

The tipping at fast food places is what makes me crazy! You’re handing me a freaking bag, you do not deserve a tip!

And then we are the ones who are making the donation, but the corporate company gets all the credit for it

Cashiers don’t want to ask customers either but they are forced to as stores have competitions on which store gets more donations. It’s ridiculous especially now.

Unfortunately these cashiers get in trouble of they don't ask. I agree with you. I want to see what tax breaks these corps are getting for this!

if we really wanted to donate we would do it under our own names vs to big companies who are gonna get a huge write off

I used to be a manager for walgreens. I HATED when we had to do red nose day or childrens miracle network. Corporate HOUNDED is to ask and tracked it daily. If we werent getting enough….

Yes. They ask you and then put that in their taxes as if that money came out of their pocket.

In southern Florida, i went into a 7-11 gas station and there was a tip jar at the counter where you check out. I'm like oh hell no! Come on. This, tip jar in every business is getting out of control.
