Wrong. There is a lot of gray area in cart return… if there is not adequate cart return places in the parking lot, and I’m parked far enough away. Sorry, not returning out of principle.

when I go to self check out I will leave the cart right there in front the self check out I grab my bags and just leave

I not only return my cart I will take others I find along the way with me. Side note: I park waaay out in boonies to avoid door dings in my 2025 Subaru Forester. 😁 I love my SUV

I didn't put it back 50% of the time until I was 28 and saw cart narcs. Proudly 4 years strong ALWAYS putting my cart back now
