@cbsnews: “Our situation is desperate”: Six-month-old Wisam al-Salafi has become severely ill and had to be hospitalized after being hit by Yemen’s malnutrition crisis. Earlier this year, UNICEF said that 2.7 million children in Yemen are acutely malnourished, with nearly half of all kids under 5 suffering from “stunting or chronic malnutrition,” which has irreversible physical and cognitive damage.
