Goat yoga is a one of a kind experience that I’ll never forget! It’s truly one of the best experience I’ve had & I can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner 🥲 The baby goats are the sweetest & so darn cute! Connecting with them while doing yoga was the best! Victoria Balentine is the shepherdess & yoga teacher. She herds goats, makes cheese & runs the farmstead. Back in the day she had a yoga studio in Manhattan & now she is overjoyed to roll three of her passions: yoga, mindfulness & goats into one fabulous offering Goat Yoga. Shady Farm is a totally organic homestead located just outside the town of Woodstock in the little hamlet of Shady. They make artisanal cheese from their happy healthy herd of goats & have laying hens. At Shady Farm they are practicing low impact regenerative agriculture & compassionate animal husbandry.
