Living my best life 😌✨ How did I do this you ask? Well I’m not going to lie it did take a while to get to where I am, but I honestly believe if I can do it anyone can 🫶 I started taking content creation more seriously at the start of last year, so literally 12 months ago, and fast forward to today, I am making triple what I used to at my corporate 9-5. Here are the steps I took to get to where I am now: 1) I worked with brands on a gifted basis at the start to build my portfolio and master my content creation skills 💻 2) I created a dedicated social media account and posted my examples, using SEO hashtags so brands could find me easily 📲 3) I created a rate card and started reaching out to 50 brands a month. 4) I locked in 3 retainer clients for each month to ensure I had stable income, keeping in mind I have a mortgage and bills so this was a little scary.
