cut the head off a bolt and use rubber fuel line on the bolt and on the tip of the valve so you don't ruin score the valve itself with the drill

What about putting valve guide liners in? Most of the time the guides are worn as bad as the valve job and compression goes right by.

as a professional engine machinist, easily 7/10 of the heads done this way see no improvement, aside from less oil consumption from valve seals. until the loose guides wipe em out again anyway.

Hold up I’m still getting into the big engine build stuff but I do think your aren’t ment to use a wire wheel or whatever it was on a drill for the exhaust or intake side. Isn’t it meant to be flat?

Or just the right sized socket that fits on the spring and double up a rag over top of it so the keepers don’t go flying and smack it lightly with a hammer
