Europeans in general are weak when it comes to spice. Only other Asians and maybe Mexicans can really appreciate their food.

I'm french, and yeah the food shock is the biggest one so far... especially not having tasty veggies... luckily I can take the spice but I miss french food tbh

The thing with traditional European food is that we tend not to oversaturate with too many flavours, that would otherwise take away from the main part of the dish, typically the meat. 1/2
