I’ve rolled up my window after handing the cop my license. Why didn’t the cop just go back to his bike write the ticket and be done with it ?

I am prolong enforcement, but there is no law that requires him to keep his window down. It’s not a lawful order. He was blatantly disrespectful to the officer.
