@thespicyventures: Chicken braised with green onions This unique combination results in the creamiest, most tender chicken you’ve ever tasted. You have to give it a try! You will need: - 4-6 boneless chicken thighs - 2-3 bunches (200g) of green onions - 1 cup (250ml) heavy cream - 1 cup (250ml) coconut milk - 2 tbsp (30g) butter - Mix of 1/4 teaspoon each coriander, allspice, dry basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper Start by cleaning green onions, then cut into 2-3 inch long stems. Wash and pat dry the chicken, then cover it in the spice mix. Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add chicken and sear on both sides for 3-4 minutes or until golden. Remove the chicken. Add butter, let it melt, then add green onions. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they char a bit. Add heavy cream and coconut milk, mix well. Return the chicken, lower the heat, cover, and let it braise for 30-40 minutes. Enjoy with rice or quinoa. Don’t forget to save the recipe!
