Voltage drop calc is also nice to verify that you’re not gonna screw yourself. And if you are using the iPhone calculator I recommend downloading calculator+ or something similar

I had an old hat teach me to use a piece of solid wire, usually a bond jumper to practice a hard bend. It's the best hack I've ever used in this field.
