I have a duty-free lunch. And then a bunch of kids come to eat lunch with me anyway. Granted, at least I’m in my room, and it’s usually kids I like 😅

In are school the people out there doing lunch duty are administrators, supports staff, and PE Coaches

Granted we are a HS level, only principals and counselors cover lunch duty. Teachers only help out in the mornings but it’s only 2 weeks during the whole year and they have a choice in what they do

The first district I worked in had ZERO duties for teachers. Admin ran the drop off/pickup. Parents and admin ran lunch. Teachers were making copies, checking in about students, setting up for class💗
