@hope.for.zimbabwe: Charity Appeal: Hope For Zimbabwe Children 2 September 2024 Hope For Zimbabwe Children's Visit to Ms Cleopatra Karamba On September 2, 2024, Hope For Zimbabwe Children (HFZC) volunteers, Mr Blessing Sibanda and Mr Patrick Chinake, visited Ms Cleopatra Karamba, a 26-year-old physically challenged woman living in Chitungwiza. This was HFZC's fifth follow-up visit to check on her progress. Ms Cleopatra was in good spirits and thanked HFZC founder, Aunty Vee, for her ongoing support. She shared how grateful she is for the help she has received, especially after being let down by others who had promised to assist but didn’t. Health Update Ms Cleopatra reported that her health has improved since HFZC's last visit. Her sores have reduced, and she is very thankful for the continued support from HFZC. Assistance Needed Ms Cleopatra still needs: 1. Iron-rich foods to help with her iron deficiency 2. An electric wheelchair to improve her mobility Assistance Received Ms Cleopatra Karamba received $20 to purchase iron tablets, addressing her iron deficiency. Additionally, she benefited from a $30 transfer via Ecocash on August 3, 2024, courtesy of Aunt Vee, to acquire a comfortable air mattress, further enhancing her well-being.
