Use sponge rollers!! And search up a sponge roller pattern, usually it’s 3-5 on the top of your head, 3-4 on each side of your head, and a few on the bottom or in the back

i think the secret is teasing?? we would always tease my mom and say she was stuck in the 80s because her hair was always big and curled. but i remember her teasing a lot and using loads of hairspray

get hella layering, and not just regular layers, get them to sit really high up ur head. the higher the layer, the more it'll fluff and not weigh down! glll 👌🏻

As someone who does 80s hair, use heat curlers and lots of hairspray. I like to throw my hair to the front and brush it out before spraying it. If you have bangs, curling them upward works wonders!!!
