most root canals fail. save your money to have the implant done instead. unfortunately if you don't have the money for the root canal you don't have money for the implant either and you have to have it done within a certain period of time as your bone starts to deteriorate because there's no tooth there and later not enough bone for an implant.

so now the tooth is really dead. I still think the better way is to pull it. People need to read more about root canal.

Root canal and crown are separate things and can cost 3-5k..would love a root canal but even with dental insurance I can’t afford it. So $130 to remove the tooth was the way to go 3 times

the thing that confuses me is, if you need to remove your gallbladder you don't haul it out and fill it and leave it in, you take it out. now why do we have this obsession with doing this to our teeth

Shio Pan (Japanese Salted Butter Rolls) Shio pan is a beloved Japanese bakery classic known for its crisp, buttery base and soft, pillowy interior. Each roll is wrapped around a chunk of cold butter, creating a delicious contrast of textures with every bite. Simple, lightly salted, and incredibly aromatic, these rolls are best enjoyed warm, straight from the oven. Ingredients Dough * 400 g bread flour * 120 g plain flour * ½ tbsp corn flour * 360 g ice-cold water * 30 g sugar * 10 g salt * 30 g coffee mate powder (or milk powder) * 40 g cold unsalted butter * 7 g instant dry yeast Filling & Topping * ~180 g unsalted butter, cut into large chunks (about 15 g each; roughly 1.5 sticks) * Rock salt, for sprinkling Instructions 1. Make the Dough 1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine bread flour, plain flour, corn flour, sugar, salt, milk powder, yeast, cold water, and cold butter. 2. Mix on low speed with the paddle attachment until the dough just comes together, then switch to the dough hook. 3. Knead for 15–20 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and passes the windowpane test. 4. Cover and let it rise until doubled in size. 2. Shape the Rolls 1. Turn the dough out and divide into 80 g portions. Shape each into a smooth ball. 2. Cover and let them rest for 15 minutes to relax the gluten. 3. Working one at a time, shape each ball into a long triangle (wider at the top, narrower at the tip). 4. Place a butter chunk at the wide end, then roll toward the point, gently pulling for tension. 5. Place each roll seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking tray, leaving space between them. 6. Cover and let rise until doubled. 3. Bake 1. Preheat the oven to 230°C. 2. Lightly spray the rolls with water and sprinkle the tops with rock salt. 3. Just before baking, spray generously again to create steam. 4. Reduce the oven temperature to 204°C and bake for 12–15 minutes, rotating the tray halfway for even browning. Enjoy your shio pan warm from the oven—crisp, buttery bottoms and soft, fluffy centers. #Recipe #HomeCooking #chula_buonappettito #shiopan #saltbread
