worked many 12 hr night shifts in the ER. No meal break, no bathroom breaks, no relief. One night a patients daughter brought me fruit, soda and a candy bar. I didn't have time to eat any of it.

All of this sound illegal but unfortunately i think it is the same in my country. Can’t they just go home at the end of tehir shift? Even if no one comes to change shifts? Wouldn’t all the “damage”-

I declined my job application few years ago, because, there was no lunch break. and when I asked about it, she said I can eat fast when no one is in the store. It was a jewellery store.

A lot of this is how it is for healthcare workers in general. I'm an Xray tech in a clinic. When I'm the only tech, lunch and potty breaks happen if I get time.

One place I interviewed for as a call center representative they wanted us to eat lunch at our desk but still answer calls at the same time. I was thinking how am I going 2 talk with my mouth full? 🤔
