A lot of this is how it is for healthcare workers in general. I'm an Xray tech in a clinic. When I'm the only tech, lunch and potty breaks happen if I get time.

14 years on night shift. This is accurate. oh you can't leave the building and have to answer bells and phone on your break, if you get one

But it’s waaaaay easier and we only work 7.5-8 hrs we can stay over if the relief nurse is running late but it’s no more than 30 mins. Most of the time they are on time.

One place I interviewed for as a call center representative they wanted us to eat lunch at our desk but still answer calls at the same time. I was thinking how am I going 2 talk with my mouth full? 🤔

worked many 12 hr night shifts in the ER. No meal break, no bathroom breaks, no relief. One night a patients daughter brought me fruit, soda and a candy bar. I didn't have time to eat any of it.

I declined my job application few years ago, because, there was no lunch break. and when I asked about it, she said I can eat fast when no one is in the store. It was a jewellery store.
