Same breeder as you and I have the same sentiments. I wish the breeder took care of the cropping beforehand bc as first time dog/dobie owners it was a crazy experience handling it ourselves!

Dobermans are definitely a dog you want to research big time before choosing a breeder. My guy was a Rescue at 11 weeks so I knew nothing on his background. He was amazing for our family and to our family. But he did not like strangers, other dogs etc. We unfortunately lost him to a twisted stomach at 11.5 on September 1st. But now I will be researching the 💩 out of the next breeder I use. I want good health (which my guy did have.) and A+ temperament.
