This REALLY pisses me off because I’m a parent (mom) and we HAVE to remember that we are only VESSELS to bring children into this world. They are separate entities, we SHOULD never behave this way!!

when I went to uni (which my dad used to tell to everyone who'd listen) any time I'd share what we were learning he'd say "don't patronise me" or "so you think you're better than us now?".

The envy is real and I only really accepted my mum was jealous of me once I got into adulthood. As a mum of two daughters I cannot imagine being like that with them. I’m so proud of them.
