@lavendelleburlesque: we all know social media isn’t real, so here’s my attempt at making it a little more truthful 💜 live performances are hard (AND fun) 💜 sometimes a garment doesn’t come off the way you’ve rehearsed it a million times 💜 sometimes new stage flooring is really slippery 💜 sometimes your heel gets caught in your robe all of these little oopsies (and even more) happened in one night. i’m human. but i don’t let my oopsies stop the fun i’m having. some of them are easy to move through without the audience being aware, some require you to laugh at yourself a tiny bit to let the audience know you’re in on the joke and still having fun. my approach to live performance is that little mistakes matter less when you move on from them with excitement for what comes next. #purple #fortwayne #oopsie #flopreel
