People use magic eraser to wash dishes? I’ve only ever used them to clean crayon off of wall and scuffs off of shoes..lol

I actually somewhat agree here. You should do what you can to avoid microplastic exposure, but they’re impossible to completely avoid. We do actually have concrete evidence that microplastics are bad

a friend worked at a daycare and they had to stop using them because babies were getting sick from inhaling and touching surfaces with the residue. I would never clean dishes, but shoes or baseboards

When I was growing up we had a hard time throwing away sponges so we use to wash them in the dishwasher so they’d come out sanitized. I’m not sure if actually worked but it helped the smell.
