I walked everyday and did weight training 3 days a week. I’m two weeks pp and have lost it all but 5 lbs. I owe it ALL to staying active and nourishing my body properly.

My only fear is for weight training my body took a lot of energy to recover and now that I’m pregnant it’s extra energy on top of that so I’m doing body weight training. If I think I’m recovery okay I might add weights again but I’m not sure.

Ugh this makes me feel disheartened. Before pregnancy, I worked out 6x a week, lifted 4x. Pregnancy hit me so much harder than I expected and am currently 20 weeks feeling like all hope is lost

So how exactly does one lift weights while also the throwing up multiple times a day? Maybe I’m just a weak gal, but first trimester has made it near impossible to do any kind of real exercise.

Even lifting heavy during pregnancy, the insane difference of strength after you have the baby….like I lost all my strength and had to rebuild! It’s like baby was powering me through 😬😂

I deadlifted 250 for reps a few weeks before having my baby. Ended up with a csection and walked the night of my csection without assistance and returned to lifting at 6 weeks.

I lift so heavy while I’m pregnant. I’ve hit my one max deadlift of 245# on this fourth pregnancy. I’ve lifted for years so I continue to. I just listen to my body.

I really want to, my first pregnancy I’m having twins and I’m so exhausted all the time. I’d love to lift weights like I used to.

Lifted with my first one, had my daughter in 5 hours. Recovery was a breeze. Was working out within a week and a half or 2 weeks

Started having hip pain my first pregnancy and just gave up working out at all. Didn’t start working out until like 7 months post partum. Really hoping it goes better the second time around

This! 🗣️I continued to lift 2-3 days/week with some walks and maybe 1 day of prenatal yoga, now I’m 8 weeks PP and have dropped 22 lbs and feel like I’m recovering well 👏🏼 consistency is key!

I have never been in better shape than shortly after my pregnancy due to staying active and lifting weights during my pregnancy. Doing the same with my 2nd baby right now
