Sometimes there's a manufacturer defect where waste is recirculated into the engine. If you remove the part that does this it will fix this problem permanently.

Go buy a V8 Diesel, delete it and drive for 500k miles. Ive seen zero advantages for the Eco diesel

Cab off is the best way, period. I’ve done intakes with the cab on, but any major engine work, cab comes up in like 90 minutes.

No tricks but we install catch cans on all of our diesels. It grabs all of that oil vapour from the crank breather so it doesn’t mix with the sunburnt diesel particles. Legal in Australia
